Traveling has always been one of my biggest passions starting since I was 18 years old. I was always looking for new destinations: challenging environments and meeting people from varying cultural backgrounds. I found I was able to discover a lot about myself while I was discovering the world.
After also working as an economist in a large cooperation for many year, it was time to do something else. I realized that there was more to life than my career so I decided to get back on the road and follow my intuition. This took me to Italy where I am now living.
In the beginning yoga was for me only a physical exercise. It kept my body in shape, but slowly I could feel there was more to it. My mind became clearer and I started to see things from a different perspective. Then one day it became clear to me that I had found what I was looking for. That is to be a yoga teacher. After intensive yoga training in Gran Canaria, I became a teacher in Hatha yoga, Yin yoga and Vinyasa Flow yoga.
During a yoga festival I met my partner, who is also a yoga teacher, and together we started a small retreat for yoga and meditation in the beautiful countryside of Italy. Here, as well as doing yoga, it is a wonderful place to walk in the countryside weaving in and out of the olive groves, listen to the birds, enjoy the special surroundings as well as trying out great Italian recipes.
I followed a series of different workshops and finally ended up learning Sat Nam Rasayan Healing (Practitioner, Amsterdam), an ancient healing technique Besides developing workshops for meditation & healing I also write spiritual books.
The universe still holds many riddles for mankind.
I do not pretend to know the whole truth. The truth is different for each one of us. It is not my intention to convince people or to show them the way. Everyone chooses their own path. There are no ‘mistakes’ in life. We are here on Earth to learn, falling down and getting back up again is part of it.
